“This statute is being used to criminalize behavior that in prior elections was just par for the course,” says Horace Cooper, a senior fellow at the National Center for Public Policy Research and chairman of the Project 21 national advisory board.

“If this can happen to Donald Trump, I’m concerned that this can happen to any American,” Mr. Cooper says. In this episode of “ATL:NOW,” Mr. Cooper breaks down one of the statutes used to indict Trump and explains why he believes it’s “highly ironic.”
